Today’s selection of gifts are rather interesting. Of course they are all things you can live without, but life always seems so much more exciting when you get a gift that’s unexpected and is something fun you can use!
I don’t know what it is about this peachy-colored serving plate — but I love it. Perhaps I love it because it has 2 of my favorite things incorporated on the design of it: New York City, and food. The cutlery-shaped buildings are so playful and fun. This is such a great gift to give, especially if you are bringing an appetizer or even cookies to a friend. Give her the cookies and tell her to keep the plate! (I have had friends give me a gorgeous-chic plate before; I thought I was getting stuck with cleaning the plate and then would have to track them down to return it — but instead they told me the serving plate was a gift! Love it!) (Plate With Purpose – City Harvest, $50)
We all live in an orange submarine… Such a fun and playful gift for someone who enjoys tea. I myself go through nearly a box of Earl Grey tea every single week! To make the gift even better, give them a small set of clear tea mugs so they can watch as their orange submarine sinks to the bottom. (1 Tea Sub for $12.95)
Whiskey Stones have been around for a long time, but still I think they are a fabulous gift. These stones are easy to use, you simply place them into the freezer to be chilled and you add them to a glass of whiskey to keep the alcohol cold without watering it down like you would if you used ice cubes. Obviously you can use the stones for other beverages, not just whiskey. (Set of 9 Whiskey Stones for $20.00)
Bacon was a big fad a few years ago… Bacon floss, chocolate covered bacon, bacon bacon bacon… And everyone knows, I hate bacon! But since there are so many bacon lovers out there, I figured I would share this one with you. If you can’t get enough bacon and you want to even smell like your favorite piece of pork, you are in luck. Because there is now a bacon cologne that you can wear. There are two different scents and supposedly they are very different from one another. But I would never sniff them to find out. (I’m practically gagging over here just imagining what it smells like.) (1 Bacon Gold, or Bacon Classic for $36.00)
